- why so seris (@plebcomics) reported
The eta for power restoration keeps bumping ahead: should be back by noon! Should be back by 3! Should've been back yesterday by 6! Like damn eversource you can just say we ain't getting power back until Monday
- Shelly Sindland (@ShellySindland) reported fromWest Hartford, Connecticut
@lonseidman The Hartford Courant is really buying into Eversource’s PR efforts. 1) It’s their job to restore power. 2) With temps in the single digits, they should be working around the clock. People’s lives are on the line. 3) Eversource got rid of a lot of local linemen.
- The Fraser Faithful (@FraserFaithful) reported
Power back in 19½ hrs@Eversource website numbers stalled overnight (can't use bucket with >30 winds?)Texted this morning on big tree fall in town (434 custs), truck in my driveway checking spur line, updated estimate to give selves ½hr more. Frozen food still on porch.
- 400lux (@Raj_pig) reported
@GovNedLamont Hey Ned still no power over 24 hours and CRICKETS from #Eversource. How about fighting for us and installing a genuine PUBLIC utility.
- Matt Rascoe (@RascoeMatt) reported
@EversourceCT If you had Distinctive Tree in that spot prior to the wind we had you wouldn't be there fixing down wires! Maybe Eversource needs to rehire people with a clue
- Unbeatable Ash (@WinterburnGames) reported
@12bitbunny True that. It ain't much so I can always shove it in existing bags. And yeah, we're buying a kerosene heater. Connecticut means we have Eversource, and they often take days to fix it. Just hopin' for lights on Christmas lol.
- Jen (@CharliNye) reported
And we’re back. I do thank Eversource for responding when I sent them the picture of the fallen tree on our block that was not only on power lines, but preventing anyone from getting in and out in that direction. I’m glad my neighborhood is back up & powered.
- mjm101627 (@mjm101627) reported
@carloshortiz7 @EversourceCT The problem is the tree huggers not Eversource if people would stop fighting them on tree removal they would have a lot less outages
- John Gairing (@Baloode) reported
@MayorEsposito is there a reason we are getting no updates about Eversource repairing outages in Danbury? The map says “evaluating outage”. When is the mayor going to get involved in a crisis situation?
- This Old Macintosh (@ThisMacintosh) reported
@EversourceNH What a bad night. It was 11- here on Hemlock Road. The power came on an hour ago. @Eversource NH, where was the break in the lines? They were no way near Hemlock because I looked. Whatever happened last night, it must have happened elsewhere.
