Here is a list of frequently asked questions along with some video demonstrations of the new features on the message boards.

Users can add a picture/avatar to their Forum Profiles by following the step-by-step instructions listed below:

1. Log on to the site using your username or email address and password.
2. Click on the username in the top right corner to reveal a drop-down menu – click “Settings.”
3. Under personalization hit “Manage Profile.”
4. Change photo button will allow photos up to 1mb from computer

Occasionally, a forum user will simply have had enough of another forum user. If the user has not violated the Network terms of service, a ban or post deletion may not be in order. Instead, you ignore the user that is bothering you or ruining your forum experience.

To ignore a user, click on the circle with a slash icon located below the username on one of their posts on the board.

2. In the drop-down, select “My Profile”
3. Click the third tab on your profile page titled “Settings”
4. On the settings screen, scroll down to edit your profile, signature and more.

When you’re in a topic, select “Back to Topic” link next to the “Post a new Topic” button in the upper left corner of the topic header.

This is the one message board enhancement we are most excited about. Here’s how it works. If you read a topic that has 10 replies and then come back hours later to the same topic on the message board that has 50 replies, when you click on the green envelope on that topic, it will take you directly to where you last left off in a topic. You’ll never have to remember which posts you’ve read in a popular topic, the system remembers for you with the green envelopes.

To get to the forum lobby, in the main site navigation drop down click “Boards”.

Once a user has established a username for an account, they are encouraged to stick with the name. But, in the event a change needs to be made, reach out to your site’s publisher and ask for it to be changed.

3. Select the image you want to add from your device to your post.
4. Click the image after it uploads to the system.

Yes! Simply click the “Quote” link under a post. To use a saved quote, click the “ icon when replying or starting a topic.

Only logged in active premium members can see premium content. Make sure you’re logged into your premium account. If you’re logged in and still unable to view premium content, confirm your account is active by going to your profile by taking the following steps:

1. Logged in, click your user avatar in the upper right corner of the navigation.
2. In the drop-down, select “My Profile”
3. Click the third tab on your profile page titled “Settings”
4. On the settings screen, select the “Current Subscriptions” link.

VIP is an active paying premium member of 247Sports.

To make a post VIP only, for both new threads and replying to an existing post, select the “VIP ONLY?” checkbox under “Post New Topic” or “Post Reply.”

You’re either on a VIP-only board or a user has selected a post to be “VIP-only”.

1. First pull the tweet’s embed code - do so by clicking on the tweet you are looking to embed and selecting the arrow pointing down (next to the follow button).
2. Select “embed this tweet” or “embed this video” and copy the code provided.
3. Go back to the forum and paste the code into the forum post body.

To post a link, copy and paste the full URL of the link you wish to post in the thread. The system will automatically link it.

To hyperlink text, specify the target in the . Then add the text that should work as a link. Finally add an tag to indicate where the link ends.

When logged in, click your user avatar in the upper right corner. In the drop down select the “Inbox” link.

There are two locations to send a user a private message.

You can access your private message inbox at the top right of the site to the left of the “My Account” link.

1. You can click on the white envelope below a user's user name within a post on the board.
2. You can include up to 10 users when sending a private message.

4. “My Signature” must be turned on during the first time of use.
5. Photos can be added to signatures.

When on a message board, select the “Sigs On” button in the upper right-hand corner. The button will toggle to “Sigs Off”. To turn signatures back on, click “Sigs Off”.

Under the user's post, click the “Flag” text to report a post as inappropriate.

A user receives a total of 25 votes (20 up votes and 5 down votes) per day.

There are two possible reasons why a downvote button will be disabled. First, if you registered on a site other than your home team site, the downvote button will be disabled. To switch your home site, contact customer support at 1-888-501-5752. Secondly, if you use a higher ratio of down votes to up votes per day, your number of down votes will decrease which may leave you with zero down votes.
