Japanese anime voice actress

Born: July 11, 1988
Birthplace: Tokyo, Japan
Current age: 29
Yuka Iguchi is a Seiyu (Japanese voice actor) I fell in love with after her steller performance as Hinata Miyake in the recently finished "A Place Further Than The Universe". Soon after I discovered that she has a massive amount of work in her portfolio. A lot of which are shows I enjoyed a lot and she voiced some of my favorite characters from said shows. With performances ranging from shows relatively unheard of to roles in extreamly popular shows. I might even suprise you when you find out who she's voiced. First please allow me to talk about some of my favorite roles she's voice acted for.

Hinata Miyake
A Place Further Than The Universe
My absolute favorite role is her performance as the genki yet smart girl of the four main girls from "A Place Further Than The Universe" and my waifu of winter 2018, Hinata Miyake. Yuka had the perfect voice for this genki girl. Always having this bubbly fun voice that somehow still hits hard when saying things that were emotional, Cynical or Judgmental. With her voice being so bubbly whenever she would say somthing smart or insightful, it kinda came as a suprise as you expect her to allways be fun and dumb. The way her voice played off the other seiyu allways seemed to be pefect, and of the four main girls, Yuka's Hinata had the most distinct voice and never once did I get her confused with the others in the cast.

Tsukihi Araragi
Monogatari Franchise
A role almost equal to the previous entry in my eyes, we have the little sister to the protagonist of most of the Monogatari franchise. No not the little sister who wants her onii-chan, the other sister who wants to kill her onii-chan. Again Yuka brings a bubbly voice but this time she breaks the overly genki voice for a slightly more stern version of her the same voice, Only rarely does she do this, normally when she's mad at her brother. But it does improve how much I love her role. Appearing in nearly every season of Monogatari, even if for only a scene, I still adore her role as Tsukihi.

Mitsuba Sanguu
Owari No Seraph
A character often forgotten from this rollercoaster of a show, Yuka's performance as the overly concerned Mitsuba was very cool. Since this show was a lot less of a cute show and was more edgy, Yuka had to tone down the bubbliness in favor of sterness. Even though I prefer her more genki roles, I still highly enjoy her stern voices. Still very cute elevating all her characters to waifu status on voice alone, the more stern voice makes you take the character more serious. After all, she's a solder in a group, she can't be cute when yelling about the giant monster coming in from the south. Not as bubbly but still among my favorite roles she's voiced.

Those are just some of my favorites. Clearly I love her bubbly voice a lot. Hearing Hinata or Tsukihi talk melts me away. Other roles she's done include:
-Index from Index/Railgun franchise
-Mirei from Valkyria Drive: Mermaid
-Mea from To LOVE-Ru
-Chlammy from No Game No Life
-Nami from Keijo!!!!!!!!
-Sherry and Chelia from Fairy Tail
-Maria from Haganai
-And Sagiri's mom from Eromanga-sensei.

Those are some of her more popular roles if only to name a few. But beyond voice acting, she has also done theam songs to name a few:
Haganai season 1 OP ♪
Danmachi OP ♪
-Danmachi: Sword Oratoria OP ♪
-Koyomimonogatari OP 7 ♪
-Nisemonogatari OP 3 ♪
-Sakura Trick OP and ED ♪
A Place Further Than The Universe ED ♪

Those are again a few of her more popular performances. As much work as she does it seems that among seiyu, (based on numbers I found on My Anime List) she's not very popular, despite all these amazing and popular roles both as a theam song performer and a voice actress.
I hope this rundown of some of her work got you interested in more of her stuff. I hope it was interesting. Please leave a comment if you have any oppinions or if there was a role I didn't mention you feel should have been in the blog. Leave a like if you think I deserve one. I'll see you in the next one.
